About Me

こんにちは。OCSIの小学部と中等部の日本語の授業を担当します堀井です。
私は東京生まれの東京育ち。アメリカとシンガポールとイギリスにも住んでいました。
沖縄には2013年から住んでいます。 OCSIの3年生と12年生の子供がいます。

今年もOCSIの生徒に日本語を教えることができて大変嬉しいです。
日本語を学ぶことの大切さ、面白さ、奥深さをこれから生徒たちと一緒に
私も学んでいけたらと思っています。よろしくお願いいたします。

Hello, my name is Yumi Horii and I am looking forward to teaching Japanese
this year to the elementary and secondary students.
I have two children attending OCSI who are currently in 3rd and 12th grade.
I was born and raised in Tokyo and have an degree in Spanish and Social Science
as well as a certification to teach Japanese.
